FAQ

  • Who is this retreat for?

Adults only please (no children under the age of 13).  Retreat is open to all levels, however a general level of fitness is required.

Our aim is to help you relax, learn more about yoga, connect to your daily yoga/ meditation practice and share the beautiful space in an inclusive environment.

  • Can I bring my friend or partner who is a beginner at yoga?

Yes. All practices can be modified to suit all levels. However, a basic level of yoga would be helpful, ideally at least a few months of yoga practice.

Please note: Morning practices will include dynamic movement (vinyasa yoga) for approximately 90 minutes. The geo-dome is 400m walk down a path which may have uneven terrain.

  • What kind of yoga is offered on this retreat?

Vinyasa yoga will be offered to energise the body in the mornings with focus on the breath. Other styles of yoga may also be offered including: yin, chill flow, meditation and gentle yogic breath (pranayama).

Modifications will be offered, with options to up- or down level your practice.

  • Do I have to attend every yoga session?

All sessions are 100% optional. You’re on a yoga vacation, right? 🙂 We typically find most students will try and come to all the sessions. If you decide you want to enjoy a sleep in or indulge in a long afternoon nap – that’s completely fine – there’s no pressure to attend every session.

  • What is the max capacity of this retreat?

You can expect a small sized group, around 15 people. Max 22 guests on site.

  • Will there be alcohol (and is BYO ok)?

No, this is a drug and alcohol free retreat. Soma does not allow any alcohol on the premise.

  • I’m a yoga teacher – can I get continuing education credits?

Yes, continuing education teacher training credits are available. A certificate of completion will be issued to you upon request.
