Each day will begin with an integrative meditation and vinyasa yoga practice, infusing in the ancient wisdom from Yoga to remember the essence of who we are so that we can flow with life’s rhythms with greater contentment and ease.

Location

Our retreat home is a 5 bedroom house located in the heart of Point Lookout with magnificent views of the ocean and surrounded by bushland. This is the perfect home away from home, an escape from the modern life (with essential facilities like cafes and shops just a short walk away).

The retreat is delightfully intimate with up to 8 guests.

  • Check in time: from 4pm on Thursday 11th May
  • Check out time: 11am on Sunday 14th May

(a late check out time is available before 2pm as well if you wish to take more time to explore the island)

3.25pm – board passenger ferry (Cleveland)

4.30pm- check in

5pm- opening circle + refreshments

5.30pm – vin/yin practice

6.45pm – dinner

Friday 12th May
7-9am – Meditation, Pranayama & Yoga

9am – Breakfast

10.30am – Cooking lesson

1pm – Lunch

4.30pm – Yoga at the beach

6pm- Dinner

7.30pm- Yoga Nidra

Saturday 13th May
7-9am – Meditation, Pranayama & Yoga

9am – Breakfast

10.30am – Guided walk

9am – closing circle

*option to have a late checkout and departure (before 2pm) however you will have to arrange your transport to the ferry*

No deposit refund. A credit might be offered for a future retreat or course.
100% refund of balance of payment for cancellation 60+ days before the booking start date.
50% refund of balance of payment for cancellation 30-59 days before the booking start date.
No refund for cancellation 0-29 days before the booking start date.

How to get there

Ferry terminal to North Stradbroke Island is located at 3 Emmett Dr, Cleveland.

  • Board the 3.25pm Sealink Passenger Ferry  (Cleveland) on 11th May for arrival at 4pm.

(Complimentary shuttle pick up to the retreat house is available if you take this ferry.)

  • Departure is at 11.25am on 14th May (Dunwich)

(complimentary shuttle available from Point Lookout to Dunwich for this departure time however if you opt for a later departure time you will have to arrange your transport to the ferry).

What to bring

Your own yoga mat, beach towel, appropriate clothing for activities, sunscreen and insect repellent.

Michellealisa

Michelle is a Yoga teacher who encourages her students to explore the realm of their practice. Her classes are inviting to students of all levels and walks of life.

As an athlete from a young age, Michelle draws inspiration from different modalities of movement and is fascinated about adaptable alignment, energetic subtleties and the crafting of intelligent sequences. Her classes take you on a journey, from moving your outer vessel with greater fluidity and understanding to witnessing the mini universe within the labyrinth of your mind.

Michelle is also a very passionate student and has studied with many teachers worldwide including: Noelle Connolly, Shiva Rea, Maty Ezraty, Rod Stryker, Simon Park and many others. She has accumulated over 1000 hours in teacher trainings and has recently co-founded Soul Studies Yoga Trainings, a yoga school dedicated to evolving yoga teachers.

To Michelle, the practice of yoga is beyond the mat, it’s a way of life; it is about being absorbed and fully present in the mundane an extraordinary moments of life so that we can navigate life with greater ease and grace.

Aside from sharing yoga, Michelle has been a practicing pharmacist for over a decade.
